Justin Smith - General Manager (Hobart Office)

Justin joined Ochre Recruitment back in 2007 having previous experience in the recruitment industry. Before joining Ochre, Justin was responsible for the recruitment of health care professionals for the Department of Defense for 4 years and worked in the Communication and IT sector for 11 years.

His passion and enthusiasm for the Medical Industry was soon recognised by management and he was quickly elevated to Team Leader, a position he held for two years before being promoted to General Manager of Ochre Recruitment.

Justin has worked in all sections of the Medical Recruitment industry, specialising in rural and remote placements. He has an intimate understanding of the system and how to achieve outstanding results.

Marcella joined Ochre Recruitment in late 2007 bringing a wealth of sales and marketing experience to the team. With a background in real estate, Marcella adds a valuable mix of depth and experience combined with fresh approaches to the marketing of medical placements in regional Australia.

Having been responsible for generating record levels of new listings and sales with her previous employers, Marcella further increases the depth of business development, sales and customer service to our team of consultants. Marcella was promoted to Senior Consultant in July 2010 and now heads up or new Brisbane office.

Tracey came to Ochre Recruitment from a busy Sydney based role in the financial sector involving recruitment, regular interaction with recruitment agencies and the management of these relationships. This has given Tracey great insight and experience in recruitment, allowing her to employ best practice methodologies to achieve consistent outcomes.

Tracey’s attention to detail and enthusiasm ensures that your placement will run smoothly, freeing you to focus on your business and providing quality health care to your patients. Tracey was promoted to Senior Consultant in July 2010 and heads up the locum cell in Hobart.

Stuart Cooper - Recruitment Consultant (Hobart Office)

Stuart joined Ochre Recruitment in early 2009 in a Para-Recruiter role a position in which he held for 9 months before being promoted to Recruitment Consultant With a background in Marketing and HR, Stuart brings to the team youthful enthusiasm and a willingness to succeed at everything he does.

Thrown in the deep end that is the locum cell and its hectic pace, Stuart has thrived on this dynamic style of recruitment and prides himself on making sure all the pieces of the "placement puzzle" come together in time! Stuart loves all sports, a good laugh and building rapport with doctors, staff and clients alike.

Jason Clark - Ochre Health Recruitment Consultant (Hobart Office)

Jason is new to the team at Ochre Recruitment after several years in the recruitment industry with Manpower and Chandler McLeod. Jason has a passion for the health and well being of rural Australia and has thus taken on the role of Permanent placements for our parent company Ochre Health.

Before moving over to the recruitment industry Jason travelled the world working on machines similar to those used in radiation therapy. He has studied in both Australia and also 14 months in San Diego California increasing his knowledge in this field. Jason enjoys an active lifestyle and loves the Tasmanian lifestyle including seasonal sport, hiking and riding.

Julie has a background in recruitment, working in Ireland as an international recruiter and prior to joining Ochre Recruitment, as Candidate Manager for NZLocums providing locums and permanent placements to rural practices in all areas of New Zealand.

Having also lived and worked in Canada, Japan and Australia, Julie understands the challenges of adapting to a new country but also the rewards it brings. Julie now spends her weekends in New Zealand hiking, skiing and learning to surf and can give you advice on the best places to visit.

Luke has a long career in medical recruitment. Starting out in registration at the Medical Council of New Zealand has given him an in depth knowledge of the New Zealand registration process.

Luke went on to work in medical recruitment in Australia, and since 2004 worked in New Zealand for both NZLocums and NZMedics placing GPs in urban and rural areas, and arranging hospital placements from junior doctors to senior consultants.

Tammy Breen - Office Manager

Tammy has worked for Ochre Recruitment since 2004 and keeps our office running smoothly.

During this time Tammy has undertaken support roles within customer service, sales and finance and has developed an extensive and broad level of expertise within Ochre Recruitment and Ochre Health operations.

Melita Stanley - Para Recruiter (Hobart Office)

Melita joined Ochre Recruitment in March 2010. With a background in Airline Travel, Melita is used to a fast paced, dynamic environment which translates well to locum recruitment.

Able to think on her feet and provide humour as well as enthusiasm, it’s no surprise Melita has fit in as well as she has at Ochre Recruitment.

Josh Mitchell - Business Support Administrator (Hobart Office)

With a passion for marketing, advertising, business development and growth, Josh Mitchell brought his creative flair to Ochre Recruitment at the beginning of 2010, fulfilling a growing need in the expanding company for an additional Business Support person.

Having a broad range of experience and knowledge to the role, particularly in marketing, communications and information technology, Josh provides an across the board level of support to the company.

Josh loves writing, photography, music and travel; enjoys finding the hidden treasures of life and carries a fresh perspective into whatever he undertakes.

Amanda Sharp - EA to Marcella Coppleman (Brisbane Office)

Amanda joined Ochre Recruitment in September 2010 and is the youngest member of the Ochre team.

Amanda has previously worked as an Executive Medical Support Officer within regional Queensland Health and this experience has given her a foot in the door with Ochre Recruitment. She has also brought her knowledge of Queensland Health processes, workforce shortage in rural health areas and travel options (especially to the Central Highlands area in Queensland) with her.

Her enthusiastic and cheerful attitude towards work allows her tasks to be completed quickly, accurately and always delivered with a smile.
